3/10/00  Daniel Case was married to an "Elizabeth" for the first marriage.  The five sons listed here must be her children. The first child was born in 1815 and therefore could not have been Effy's child.  She married Daniel in 1841.  Elizabeth is buried next to Daniel and Effy in the Vaughan Cemetery in Sparta, New Jersey.

After reading the Vaughan Cemetery Inscriptions and working out the death dates for the persons buried there, I concluded that Elizabeth must have been Daniel's first wife and the mother of his 5 sons.  They, however, are sealed to Effy.
