From the Sorce information:  Sarah was age 85 in Oct. 1844 when she applied for a widow's pension, 20 years after Daniel's death.  Sons Daniel P. Case, ae 56 and John signed off on the  petition.

3/10/00  Daniel Case was married to an "Elizabeth" for the first marriage.  The five sons listed here must be her children. The first child was born in 1815 and therefore could not have been Effy's child.  She married Daniel in 1841.  Elizabeth is buried next to Daniel and Effy in the Vaughan Cemetery in Sparta, New Jersey.
