3/10/00  Daniel Case was married to an "Elizabeth" for the first marriage.  The five sons listed here must be her children. The first child was born in 1815 and therefore could not have been Effy's child.  She married Daniel in 1841.  Elizabeth is buried next to Daniel and Effy in the Vaughan Cemetery in Sparta, New Jersey.

                   6/20/01  I now believe that Effy (Shotwell)? was the second wife.  That marriage took place in Newton in 1841.
Found Elizabeth on a cemetery record in Newton as having been deceased before 1840.
Marriage to Effy by John Brodreth, J.P. in Newton.
Unfortunately all of the children listed were sealed to Effy and not Elizabeth, probably their real mother.

Effy was 56 in 1850 census
Effy was 60 (66?) in 1860 census
Some document from Newton lists her as Elizabeth 3/28/1832??
Apparently dead by 1867.
