My maiden name is Stickles and I am researching that line. My Stickles (Stickel) were in Summit, Schoharie Co. in the 1850 census. I have also found the following information.

SUMMIT
Stickles Elan N., p o Summit, farmer, 101 acres, born in Columbia county August 19, 1804, settled in county in 1810; wife Hannah Mickle, of Fulton, married January 15, 1856. Parents, Nicholas F. and Debora (Dean) Stickles, the former of whom was a son of Nicholas, a resident of this county, and lived to be ninety-six years of age.
It appears one of my Stickles was married to a Hannah Mickle and Im wondering if that is possibly one of the Mickles that you are researching. Id love to hear back from you.
