Captain in the King Phillp's War He was called a "Yeoman" in England, indicating his societal rank. He andhis brothers Timothy and Joseph sold their land in Cranfield on February19, 1637/38 and he was made a Freeman in Massachusetts on March 13,1639/40. He is recorded as living in Concord as early as September 1,1640. He soon moved to Fairfield, Connecticut.
1 _MILT 2 PLAC Captain in the King Phillp's War Thomas settled at Pequonnock and had a home near Benjamin Turney's, Ephraim Wheeler's, and his father's. His home was near the Indians and he must have learned to speak their language. He even had a peace contract with the Indians.
