FamilySearch shows James Graves as the possible son of John Herndon Graves and Francis Childers, which seems to match IF John was born in 1746 and Francis was born in 1750, but this does not coincide with "Descendants of James Graves and Frances Childers" (www.gravesfa.org/gen100.htm - appears to be well documented) , which shows Francis as being born about 1790, and marrying James Graves, born in 1790.
