Graduated at the Washington & Jefferson College, Canonsburg, PA. in the class of1865, studied law and was admitted to the bar of Jefferson CO. PA.
Was president of the Jefferson CO. Bar Assoc. and Commander of the E.R. Brady Post, No. 242, Department of PA. Grand Army of the Republic.
Religion: Presbyterian.
Died of Typhoid fever.
