William Brown STEWART
Came with the "Waggoner of the Alleghenies" to Pittsburgh, and thence to Murraysville. He was a publisher and printer. Religion: Presbyterian, 2nd Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh. Poltics: Whig Initially intered in an Allegheny Cemetery, but many years after was moved.

Religion: Presbyterian. Very industrious lady. Opened schools for young ladies, taught for many years. Was principal for the Union Schools, Niles, OH in 1875 - 1876.
Graduated at the Washington & Jefferson College, Canonsburg, PA. in the class of1865, studied law and was admitted to the bar of Jefferson CO. PA. Was president of the Jefferson CO. Bar Assoc. and Commander of the E.R. Brady Post, No. 242, Department of PA. Grand Army of the Republic. Religion: Presbyterian. Died of Typhoid fever.
He married Mary Moore Laird 10 Nov 1836 . Mary Moore Laird was born at Locustdale, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania 5 Oct 1816 daughter of Francis Laird and Mary Moore .
