Joshua HARRIS

                   Married 5 times, had 15 children.

Joshua settled on a part of his father's plantation, opposite and in sight of his father's house. At the time on Ann Allen's death at the birth of her 4th child, Joshua's father wrote of his son, "He was in a very thriving way of living. I had made him a deed of 125 acres of land of the first quality. No improvements on it at the time, only about 9 acres of clear land. He had made considerable improvements, had cleared about 30 acres, with very good buildings, had the last year about 800 bushels of orn and 260 bushels of wheat, had purchased himself two valuable Negroes (a fellow and a wench)."

Joshua's 4 children by his first wife, Ann Allen, born betweem 1812 - 1820, moved away from N.C. to Mississippi and Powder Springs, GA.

The 7 children he had with Elizabeth Harris were born between 1823 - 1834.

The 3 children with Ann Levinia Lingle, were born between 1856 - 1859.
