                   I am assuming that there was an unknown person, since Curvin was married at 28 years, his wife Jennie at 39. There must be another mother of these kids (besidesJennie) if the census was correct.

Parents born in PA.
She was married (first marriage) at age 39, which would have been in about 1919.That would have made her not the mother of the kids. Curvin was 28 at his firstmarraige (about  1902).
1950 - attended The Bermudian Camp. Mrs. Annie Rentzel was there also.
