                   John Maul, son of John Philip Maul and grandson of Conrad Maul I.  He married a Lady Rebecca, who was born Jan 31 1791 and Nov 29 1827 and is buried at Leschey's Church Cem. John married a second time to a Lady name margaret who was born in1800 and died on May 25 1883.

John Maul was a Captain of the 9th Company of Pennsylvania Regiment, First Brigade, of the Fifth Division, composed of Militia of York Co., PA., March 24 1815. the birth and baptism records given are from St. Matthew's Church of Hanover, Pa., Prowell's History of York Co., PA Vol. I, Page 252, records the names of thedaughters.
