Ruth S. Hoover, 83, arendtsville, died Sat at Guilford Convalescent Home, Fayetteville.
She was born in York County, daughter of the late Charles and Ellen Alwine Heilman.
Her first husband, Robert D. Sell, is deceased. Her second husband, Marcus Hoover, also died.
She is survived by two sons, Sterling E. and Clyde R. Sell, both of Arendtsville; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Mae Over, Hernell, N.Y.; Mrs. Clifford (Regina) Harman, 229 N. Stratton ST., Gettysburg; four sisters, Mrs. Fannie Miller, College Park, MD; Mrs. Roxie Hersh, Long Island N.Y.; Mrs. Ada Henry, York; Mrs. Lewis (Frances) Bowes, also of York; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was amember of he Biglersville Senior Citizens, Arendtsville. Arendtsville Fire Company Auxiliary, Zion United Church of Christ and the SUnday School class there.
Services willbe held Tues at 11 am from Peters Funeral Home, Gettysburg. Interment willbe in the Fairview Cemetery, Arendtsville.
