Jacob DOLL
Arrived in MD in 1762 Counted in the 1766 Census in Frederick, MD.
BIRTH: Doll Records complied by Charles Doll- He says that the Evangelical and Reformed Church records in Frederick, MD give the birth date and the baptism date. The baptism was at that church in Frederick, MD. Birth place is unknown butwas in America.
BIRTH: Doll Records complied by Charles Doll- Not recorded in the Evangelical and Reformed Church records in Frederick, MD. MARR: Doll Records compiled by Charles Doll. DEATH: Must be after the following because son Jacob was alive for this appointment. Doll Records state: "On 15 Jun 1810, Daniel Doll of Hardy County, Va. appointed Jacob Doll his attorney to sell lands he had received from his father, Jacob Doll deceased. This is recorded in the Hardy County Court House inMoorefield, W. Va, Deed Book 6, page 144. Jacob Doll is described therein as living at the time in Hampshire County, Va."
BIRTH: Doll Records complied by Charles Doll- Not recorded in the Evangelical and Reformed Church records in Frederick, MD. In the Hardy County (W.) Virginia Courthouse, in Deed Book 6 dated 5 Aug 1805, Jacob Doll is appointed attorney to act and sell property of the deceased Jacob Doll on behalf of Margaret Doll, et al. In Ross Co., OH, an affadavit was signed by Margaret, et al stating the same. MARR: Doll Records compiled by Charles Doll state that Margaret was not married when she moved to Ohio.
BIRTH: Doll Records complied by Charles Doll- Recorded in the Evangelical and Reformed Church records in Frederick, MD. At one point live in Ross Co., OH.
BIRTH: The 1820 Census of Dubois Tp.,Clark Co.,Il.;Page 31 states there are twoforeigners not naturalized living in the household. I thought that Mary was one of the "foreigners" because in a letter written by Wm. K. Johnson to his son A. R. Johnson, he states that Mary Doll was a native of Germany. The Doll History compiled by Charles Doll seems to prove otherwise because Mary's older brother, John, was baptized in 1767 in Frederick, MD. In the 1880 census of Olathe, Johnson, KS, page 104B, Mary's daughter, Margaret, says that her mother was born in PA. CHR: German Reformed Church. MARR: To Lockard- LDS IGI. MARR: To Walters- Marriage Records of Clark Co., Il.;1819-1845;Page 80. CENSUS: 1820 Clark Co., ILpage 31. 1830 Clark Co., IL page 61. In the 1830 census the head is Jacob Walters and I believe all the children marked are Jacob's children by a first marriage and not with Mary. The ages just do not match up with the 1820 census of Lockard and marriage dates for any of them to be Lockard children or Jacob and Mary's children together.
BIRTH: Doll Records complied by Charles Doll- Recorded in the Evangelical and Reformed Church records in Frederick, MD. MARR: Doll Records. LDS IGI has marriage as 8 Mar 1808. Sponsors at confirmation were her parents. Moved to Ross City, OH with her brother Abraham in the early 1800s.
