William Henry Hoffman, 88 died at his home, 819 York Street, Hanover, Wednesday.Mr. Hoffman, who was a building contractor the major part of his life, was bornin York county, a son of the late George and Mary Fetrow Hoffman. His wife, Prudence Heilman Hoffman, preceded him in death.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Samuel Keagy, Littlestown; Mrs. William Legore, Mrs. Roy Stauffer, Harry Hoffman and George Hoffman, all of Hanover; and Mrs. Paul Arentz, Los Angeles, CA.. 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildrena brother, Adam Hoffman, of York, and a sister, Mrs. Samuel H. Crawford, Hanover. Funeral services were held Sat afternoon.
Interment in the Abbottstown cemetery.

Mrs. Prudence Hoffman, wife of william H. Hoffman, died Monday at her home in Hanover, aged 65 years. Death was due to a complication of diseases. Mrs. Hoffman was a daughter of the late Daniel and Barbara (Haar) Heilman. Surviving are her husband and four daughters and two sons as follows: Mrs. Laura Bowers, Mrs. William Legore, Mrs. Roy Stouffer, Mrs. Paul Arentz, Harry Hoffman, and George Hoffman, all of Hanover; together with four sisters as follows: Mrs. Henry Rodgers, VA; Mrs. Jeremiah Lillich, Abbottstown; Mrs. John Stambuagh, Stambaugh's store, and Mrs. Bert Ruth, Abbottstown. Funeral Thurs morning at Abbottstown Lutheran Church. Interment in the Lutheran cemetery, Abbottstown.

Born in Abbottstown, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Prudence Heilman Hoffman.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, John W. Bowers, Littlestown R.2; a daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Whisler, Hanover; one grandchild; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Harry A.Hoffman and George Hoffman, both of Hanover, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Stauffer, Hanover.
Private funeral services will be held on Tues. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Mrs. Barbara Ann LeGore, 67, 299 South St., Hanover, Adams county, died Monday evening in the Hanover General Hospital a short time after she was admitted. Complications caused death after an illness of about 3 months. She was the wife of William R. LeGore.
Mrs. LeGore was a native of York county and was a daughter of the late William and Prudence (Heilman) Hoffman. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church of Hanover.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters: Mrs. R.L. Pittenturf, York Springs, and Mrs. Wesley Vaughn, Media; two grandsons, Danny and Michael Vaughn, Media; three sisters, Mrs. Samuel Keagy, Littlestown; Mrs. Roy Staugger, Hanover; and Mrs. Paul Arentz, Los Angeles; two brothers, Harry Hoffman and George Hoffman, bothof Hanover, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Private services Tues afternoon/ Interment in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Helen Rebert, 1817 Old Westminister Pike, Finksburg, MD; 2 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and one brother, George W. Hoffman, 721 York St., Hanover.
Funeral services will be held Thurs. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
