                   I had a baptism date of 1 Nov 1830, but I took the Church archives record.
I also have a death date of the 2nd and 10th of Oct 1842. I took the Church archives date.
He was a physician. He was called by revelation to be a High Councilor to JosephSmith.
Baptized in Kirtland. Had a patriarchial blessing from Joseph Smith Sr. Piloted the steam boat up the St. Lawrence River in the War of 1812. He was the pilot, an officer. He served under Commodore Perry, and had been with him at the battle of the Thames when Tecumseh was killed. Said "I'll have a raisor strap, and skinned a strip off of Temuseh back".
Was a fifth cousin of the prophet Joseph Smith, through Mary Fuller's brother John.

She met Frederick on a trip to MI to visit her sister. He was the ship's pilot.
The family moved to the Niagara frontier, where she reportedly could hear the great falls.
Came to Salt Lake in 1849. Left Winter Quarters on Jul 4, 1849, in Ezra T. Benson's company, and arrived in the valley in Oct.
