                   Born in either Ireland or Scotland, although I have a note that says New Castle,New Castle, Del.
His will was dated 10 Oct 1749. In Book "A" p 188, Lancaster County, PA.
I don't know which spelling is correct, but Horace used Stuart.
IGI file states he was born in New Castle, New Castle, DEL.

The obelisk to Captain Thomas Harris has "Some of the Family of Col. George Stewart". Listed below are: Capt. John Stewart; his wife Margaret Harris; Robert Steuart, Mary Steuart. The old Stuart farm was at Marietta, PA. Captain in the PA. Flying Camp during the Revolutionary War. Moved to Deer Creek, Maryland. Lived at Doyle's Mill after returning toTuscarora.

One IGI file states that she may have been born in New Castle, New Castle, DE.

The notice appears in Relfs Philadelphia Gazette for October 9, 1813, page 3: "DIED, In this city on the 2d inst Mrs Lutia [sic] Harris, aged 76 wife of Mathew [sic] Harris, of Picton [sic], Nova Scotia."
