Name Johannes Doll or Dohl Mariah was his second wife. They had a prenupitual agreement. She is mentioned in his will. His will is dated 27th Dec, 1815. His will lists all of his children, or at least 17 of them One version listshim as John. I think that he is listed in the book Pastoral Acts at Muddy Creek Church, 1730 - 1790. He is listed as being baptized on Nov 20, 1747. Parents are Conrad Doll and Maria Magdalena. Sponsors are John Doll and wife, Headstone says: Johannes Doll, Nov 10, 1747 - Jan 4, 1817, 72-2-26. We don't know at all if she is a Stover. It is from tradition, and we haven't been able to find any. May also have been Chaterina, or Catatina or Catherina. This info from IGI. Could also be STOVER. Groff book says Catharina Maria Stover. There is also another Catherine Stoever. See book, Daughter of John Stoever and Anna Engel Kissecker, her spouse however was Johann Ziegler. We had a birthdate of 10 Nov 1772, Hill Church, Berks, PA. Christened 4 Dec 1772, death 3 Jan 1830, but we don't think that this is possible. Headstone says: Doll, Chatarina, Feb 5, 1754 - Nov --- 1805, 51 - 9- 0. She is buried next to Johnannes. I am unlinking her from John Adam Stover.
She was baptized at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Her sponsers were Johannes Stublerand Eva cath. She was living with Nancy Moul during the 1850 census. Many trees had this as Magdalena Doll.
He was deceased by the time his father's will was written. Listed under Toll,. Sponsers were Conrad Toll and Elisabeth.
I have him as Johann Jacob at his baptism, so I am assuming that this is who it is. In his father's will he is Jacob (check this out, maybe he died and another child was named Jacob) His sponser at his baptism was Jacob Stolfer and Susanna.
His sponsers were Conrad Toll and Elisabeth.
Her sponsers were Jacob Stower and Susanna.
Margreda /Doll - this was how it was spelled in her father's will. I took the baptism spelling. There were no sponsers listed.
No sponsers noted at her birth.
No sponsers noted at her birth.
Name at baptism is Henirich. No sponsers.
I photographed a headstone at St. John's on 6/23/06. It is right next to Henry. It says wife of Henry Graff, died, July 15, 1877. That was all that I could read. It says Frances. She is called "Veronica" on a deed from Henry to Uriah in 1866. FRONIGA is on the Church records. Baptized under FRONIGA. Her parents are Johannes Doll and Chatarina. Her tombstone stated she was age 86 years, 1 month and 8 days. I have Fronica buried at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Abbottstown, buried by Rev.W.F. Colliflower. Died 17 Jul 1877, aged 86 - 1- 8. But I have seen her headstone in St. Johns. She was listed as Froniga in the 1850 census. 1870 census stated that she could not read and write. Sealed to John Doll and Maria. Groff book has her baptized in 8 Oct 1791, daughter of John Doll and Catharina Maria Stover. 6-21-09 - I have no proof that she was a Stover, I have checked many places, and have chosen to not go with the last name.
Her parents are listed as Hannes Doll and Kadarina. They were also her sponsers.
In the baptismal records it is spelled LIDIA. No sponsors noted. In her father's will it is spelled LETIA
