                   Sources of information:  FGR submitted by Julia V. Curtis Ellsworth, 440 E.,
     1st St., Mesa, Arizona.  That FGR indicated as references:  "Michael
     Metcalf And Some Of His Descendents"  by the Rev. F.L. Weis  A9 C34,
     Cutters "History of Mass." Chas. Bencroft of Montreal, "His Ancestors and
     Descendents."  Vital Records of Dedham, Mass.  20 Vol. 4, pgs 2372-73.
On the FGR for this man, his father and mother are listed as Leonard Metcalf
     and Amy.  However, on the FGR for that couple there was no Michael Metcalf
     listed as a child.  There was a child born in the same year to Leonard and
     Amy whose name was Nicholas.
