                   In a letter that I, Yvonne Griffin, received from Joyce Pettigrew dated May 1, 1997 she states that "she knew the family of Ken Griffin, a grandson of Joseph Griffin, but to my knowledge none of that family are living. There were two daughters, Nellie and Jean, both of whom died young."

Ralph Warden visited Ken in 1971 and stated that at that time Ken was 76 years old.

Kenneth Griffin was the illegitimate son (father unknown) of Jane Griffin and used the Griffin name throughout his life.

(Research):Ken was born before his parents were married. He was raised by  his grandparents and always retained his Griffin surname.
