Hans POULSEN
Dorothea was a cook for a leading doctor in the city. She was considered pretty, full of fun and a flirt by most of the young men. Anders fell deeply in love with her. After the war of 1848 Anders and Dorothea were married presumably in Godstedh, Lolland. Dorothea was very touched by LDS missionaries and wanted to join the Church. Anders after a struggle also joined and they emigrated with four of their children. They were sent to Milton, Morgan County. Hyrum was born that December. He married Karen Marie Jorgensdatter 24 Nov 1808 at Vaabensted, Maribo, Denmark . Karen Marie Jorgensdatter was christened at Hunseby, Maribo, Denmark 19 Jan 1783 daughter of Jorgen Pedersen and Ellen Jorgensdatter .
