Samuel Harris (Jr.) was born 1741/2 in Lancaster Co. PA; he died 29 May
(from Raleigh Register in his 87th year. Mr. Samuel Harris one of the most
respectable inhabitants of that county; issue of 21 Jun 1825), and is buried
in Rock Springs Burial Ground, located several miles SE of Charlotte, NC.
(His tombstone gives in his 83rd year).
He married Margaret Harris, b 15 Jun 1744 in Mecklenburg Co. NC; d 12 Apr 1782
buried same. They married 8 Mar 1764, Mecklenburg Co., NC. Margaret was daughter
of Robert Harris, and first cousin of Samuel Harris, Jr. See Robert Harris brother for
more about their issue.
