Little, 102, of 20009 Rosebank Way, Hagerstown, and formerly of Mulberry Avenue, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Loyalton of Hagerstown. Born Sept. 18, 1907, in Gettysburg, Adams County, Pa., he was the son of the late Edmund Peter Little and Alice Virginia Spangler Little. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie May Himes Little, on March 7, 1997. He was employed by Fairchild Aircraft for 30 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was a member of Woodmen of the World, an avid bowler with the Senior Duck Pin Bowling League at Long Meadow Bowl and a volunteer driver for the American Red Cross. He is survived by two sons, Francis L. Little of Williamsport and Nelson E. Little of Smithsburg; a brother, Paul Little of Hanover, Pa.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbur Little. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010, at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward H. Heim will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 141 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Edmund came from Spangler/Spengler Family Tree. Wilber E. "Wib" Little Wilbur Edmund "Wib" Little, 91, of 11309 Airport Road, Waynesboro, doed Wednesday, Dec. 31., at his home. Born Aug 8, 1912, in Gettysburg, he was the son of the late Edmund P. and Alice V. Spngler Little. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Florence Griffin Little, who died Aug,, 21, 1987 and was married to Elsie G. Osler Guyer Little on May 12, 1992. Mr. Little lived his early life in Gettysburg and moved to the Waynesboro area in 1936. He was employed as a clerk for the United Stated Post office in Waynesboro for 31 years, retiring in Jun 1973. Mr. Little was a life member of the A.T.H. & L. Fire company and was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, the Crider Men's Biible Class, BPO Elks Lodge 731 and the Eagles Club Inc., all of Waynesboro. Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Joanne E. Kline of Blaine, Minne; fice step-children, Kathleen Sanders of Hagerstown, MD. Donald Guyer of Mont Alto, and Jeanette Sechrist, Ronald Guyer, and Arthur Guyer, all of Chambersburg; two grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 16 step -great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandsson; two brother, Raymond L. Little of Hagerstown, MD., and Paul F. Little of Littlestown; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tues., Jan 6 at 2 P.M. at the Grove -Bowersox Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Lynn D. Trutt officiating. Interment will be in the Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
