Mrs. Charles Heilman, 86 died Thursday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lewis Bose, York, after an illness of 8 months. She was born in Adams County near Abbottstown, and lived most of her life in Abbottstown. Her husband died four years ago. For the pasat 10 years Mrs. Heilman made her home in York.
She is survived by nine daughters, Mrs. Buelah Grogg, Hanover; Mrs. Marcus Hoover, York; Mrs. Melvin Collins, Hanover; Miss Orba Heilman, Hanover; Mrs. Robert Sell, Gettysburg;  Mrs. Elgin Miller, Branchville; Mrs. Clair Hersh, massachusetts; Mrs. Wilfred Henry, York; and Mrs. Lewis Bose, York; also six brothers and two sisters - Lewis Alwin, Spring Grove; William Alwine, New Oxford; Percy Alwine, New Oxford; Emory Alwine, Abbottstown; Edward Alwine, Hanover; Paul Alwine, Harrisburg; Miss Laura Alwine, York; and  Mrs. Emma Altland, also of York.

Funeral Sevices Sat at the Lutheran Church, with interment in the Abbottstown cemetery.  Peter Alwine Family tree states that she is buried at Mt. Olive in Abbottstown.
