He willed a farm in York Township to his daughter Martha. This was 1/7 of the estate. He was dead by 17 May 1782. There is a brother-in-law Thomas Minshall named in his will. I don't know if this is his sister's husband or his wife's brother. 2 Apr 1757 (30th year of King George II): Christopher Deetinhefer of York Township, yeoman (oldest son and heir-in-law of Paul Deetinhefer, joyner), and Katrina his wife and Anna Maria Deetinhefer, widow of said Paul: to Thomas Davis of Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, inn holder: for 600 pounds: a tract of 250 acres on the little Codorus Creek, except 21 1/2 acres conveyed to Henry Baker 24 Jul 1756, and a small iron stove, subject nevertheless to the payment of the residue of the purchase money, interest, and quitrent. 1762 - Thomas Davis, York Township, tax 1.10.0 pound. 1762 - a Thomas Davis, Newberry Township, had a tax of 1 pound, per head. Neither are present ever again which makes sense since out Thomas died in 1763, beofer the 1765 taxation. His will dated 3 Jan 1763, stated he lived in York Twp., York. He had a plantation and fulling mill. He divided it equally between the children, so there should be 7 kids. It appears he had a lot in York Town also. This was 1/2 lot of ground in York Town on High Street and known as Lot # 108.
Remarried before 4 Jun 1773. Her new name was Ann Hornell. Noted in Orphan's Court Dockets C, 118).
Name obtained from Physician's Return of Death for Tempest Wilson. I have a birthdate of abt 1744, but this may have been old information on a person we previously thought was the mother.
