Mrs. Myrtle B. Heilman Hoover, 63 wife of Marcus C. Hoover, York, died Tuesday night of last week at her home.
In addition to her husband she is survived by the following children, Mrs. Alpheus Strausbaugh, North York; Mrs. Walter Steiner, Lnghorne; Mrs. Ethel Markle, York; Mrs. Charles Brunner, York; Sherman Hoover, Chambersburg; Kenneth Hoover, Marion; 14 grandchildre and 5 great-grandchildren.
Also these sisters and brother, Mrs. Mervin Collins, Orba Heilman and Mrs. Buelah Grogg, all of Hanover; Mrs. Ruth Sell, Gettysburg; Mrs, Elgin Miller, Washington, D.C;   Mrs. Clair Hursh, New York City; Mrs. Lewis Bose, and Mrs. Wilford Henry, both of York.
She was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church and Sundau School, Abbottstown.
Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Abbottstown.

Mrs. Mervin O. Collins, 73, Hanover, died at 9 am, at the Brethern Home, New Oxford, R. 1, where she was a guest for more than a year. She was the former Cora D. Heilman, daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Alwine Heilman, and was born 19 Nov 1890. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and Sunday School.
Surviving are her hsuband, and two children by a former marriage to Ivan Fisher, Donald H. Fisher, Hanover, and Mrs . Helena Bollinger, Hereford, MD. four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Mrs. John Schwartz, Wnglewood, NJ; Kenneth Collins, Baltimore, and Richard Collings, Timonium, MD. three step grandchildren; 3 step greatgrandchildren; and 7 sisters, Mrs. Beulah Grogg, Hanover; Mrs. Mark Hoover, Gettysburg; Mrs. Roxie Hursh, Long Island; Mrs. Fannie Miller, College Park, MD; Miss Orba Heilman,  Mrs. Ada Henry, and Mrs, Francis Bose, all of York.
Funeral services on Thurs. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Ivan J. Fisher and miss Cora D. Heilman were united in marriage on Thursday evening at 8 o'clovk, by the Rev. A. M. Heilman, an uncle of the bride. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fisher, and Miss Heilman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Heilman, all of Hanover.

1 Jul 1974 - Dies after Thief Causes Broken Hip
Miss Orba K. Heilman, 81, 31 S. Duke St., York, formerly of Adams County, died Sunday in Memorial Osteopathic Hospital in York 18 days after her hip had been broken in a daylight assault at York's Central Market.
Miss Heilman fell while she clung to her purse when a purse-snatcher tried to wrest it from her while she was shopping on Jun 13 at 9:30 am. SHe had been in the hospital since then, and died Sunday at 12:05 am.
Miss Heilman was employed as a weaver by Central Ribbon Mills before she retired 21 years ago. She was a member  of Christ Lutheran Church.
Miss Heilman was born in Adams County, one of 10 daughters of Charles M. and Sally (Alwine) Heilman. Survivng are five sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hoover, Arendtsville; Mrs. Fannie Miller, College Park, MD; Mrs, ROxy Hursh, Huntington, N.Y.; Mrs. Ada Henry and Mrs. Frances Bose, both of York.
Burial will be in St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Abbottstown.

Ruth S. Hoover, 83, arendtsville, died Sat at Guilford Convalescent Home, Fayetteville.
She was born in York County, daughter of the late Charles and Ellen Alwine Heilman.
Her first husband, Robert D. Sell, is deceased. Her second husband, Marcus Hoover, also died.
She is survived by two sons, Sterling E. and Clyde R. Sell, both of Arendtsville; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Mae Over, Hernell, N.Y.; Mrs. Clifford (Regina) Harman, 229 N. Stratton ST., Gettysburg; four sisters, Mrs. Fannie Miller, College Park, MD; Mrs. Roxie Hersh, Long Island N.Y.; Mrs. Ada Henry, York; Mrs. Lewis (Frances) Bowes, also of York; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was amember of he Biglersville Senior Citizens, Arendtsville. Arendtsville Fire Company Auxiliary, Zion United Church of Christ and the SUnday School class there.
Services willbe held Tues at 11 am from Peters Funeral Home, Gettysburg. Interment willbe in the Fairview Cemetery, Arendtsville.
