                      Joseph Parker McKeehan graduated from Dickinson College in 1897; took the degree of A.M. in 1899; and the degree of LL.B. in 1902.  He was an instructor of Latin at Dickinson College from 1897 to 1899; and was a Professor in Dickinson School of Law from 1902 until the time this book was written (1923).  He was a member of the Jury of Awards at the Paris Exposition in 1900; a member of the Jury and Secretary of Departmental Jury for Social Economy at the St. Louis Exposition in 1904; delegate to the Universal Congress of Lawyers and Jurists at St. Louis in 1904. He was a member of the American Academy of Political and Social Science; the American Political Science Association; the Pennsylvania Bar Association; the Pennsylvania Scotch-Irish Society; Phi Beta Kappa; and Beta Kappa Pi.
