I have seen the cemetery records. He was 52 - 5- 11. Living in Paradise Township in 1870. He was listed under P.W. He was listed as 39 years old which would make his birth year about 1831. One World Tree has his birth year at 1834, but this would not fit.
The headstone stated Delia Moul, I don't know whether Moul was the maiden name or middle name. The headstone stated that she was 75 - 2- 25. One World Tree had her birth year as 1834. Someone in New Family Search had Maul. 1900 she was living with Peter M. and Lydia A. in Hanover. She was listed as Deliah M. Heilman. She was widowed. 7 of her 10 kids were alive in 1900. Middle name might be Moul. But a newspaper said it was A. The same article said that he was in charge of a large congregation in the Lutheran church in Joliet. M, came from the 1900 census. JOHN HEILMAN 18 Mar 1932 - News Comet, East Berlin PA. John Heilman died Wednesday at his home in York. He was aged 74 years. Surviving are three sons, including Harry F. Heilman, Hanover; two brothers, Peter M. Heilman, Hanover, and Charles M. Heilman, York, and two sisters Mrs. John Mummert, Nashville, and Mrs. Charles Little, Gettysburg. Funeral services were held Saturday. the Rev. Paul Gladfelter, Abbottstown, officiated. Friends of the family served as pallbearers. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery, Abbottstown. Some places had the middle initial as M. Not in the obit. THIS ONE ISN"T THE ONE THEN.... One World Tree had the exact birthdate. M middle initial comes from family trees. There is a John M. Heilman Mar 1857 living in Berwick Township in 1900. He was married to Josephine. My family in Ancestry had this as John M. 1906 - he was in East Berlin. According to Deliah's obituary.
