Johann Henrich GRAFF

                   Not 100% sure that she is the Elizabeth of the will of- 9 Mar 1802, but sure enough to at least put it down.

I got this from Matthias' will. She was living on the land that was owned by her husband Henry, but was willed by her brother-in-law Matthias, to his son Henry. She was alive when Matthias' will was written on Sep 10, 1793.

Her will was 9 Mar 1802 - Elizabeth Graef. she was from Paradise Township. She was a widow.
Maiden name was Fishall, with brothers Kilian,  Michael, Henry, Adam and Wendle. With various kids. Thery are in the rest of PAF.


1/17/10 - I am wondering is this was a second wife???? I have an incidence where a Henry Graff (of this time frame) was married to an Anna (Sponser at a baptism). This might explain why all of Henry's stuff went to Mathias and Gerhardt's kids, not her. There was a Orphan's court battle about it. It seems if she had been his first wife, she should have been able to keep the property, etc.
In her will no mention is made of the Graff side of the family. A little anger, bitterness?????


5 Mar 1782 - Elizabeth, the wife of Henry (deceased) - to appear before Orphan Court - did not pay Caspar Miller & Katrina, late Catharina Graef, widow of Garrett Graff (deceased). Catharina is the mother and natural guardian of Katrina, Mary Margaret and Mary (minor children) of Garrett Graff (deceased).

27 Aug 1782 - Henry (deceased) was married to Elizabeth Graff. She had to pay the minor children of Gerhard Graff (deceased), Caspar Miller was the guardian of the children.
Gerhard is one of the brothers of Henry, also she must pay Matthias Graff (also a brother of Henry)
