It is interesting that several internet sources give 1 Aug 1359 inBrittany, France as the death date/place of John Avenel. This appears tobe the same death date/place which The Magna Charta Sureties gave (inerror I believe) to Margery's 1st husband William de Ros. William de Rosdied in 1343 according to Ancestral Roots and Burke's Peerage.
