Notes:
                   Stephen Robert Wells crossed the Atlantic on the S.S. George W. borne to New Orleans.  Traveled up the Mississippi River to St. Louis on a paddle boat.  Married Mary Ann Lowe (Shipmate, 8 years older than he) in St. Louis.  Landed in Iowa because Nauvoo was still too dangerous.  Crossed the plains arriving in Salt Lake City, in 1851 (4 years after Brigham Young).  Lived in Holladay area, then moved to Spanish Fork (Bishop or Br. Pres.).  1857 married 2nd wife, Annie Thorne in Salt Lake City (survivor of Martin/Willey Grp).  Annie was a younger cousin/relative of 1st wife, Mary Ann Lowe.
