                   I am maddly doing research on Susan Jane Palmer, so far I have found

She was born in Iowa, in 1851

The 1900 Census in Los Angeles, Calif say she had 4  children 2 living if I could read it right
Her Father was born in Pennsyvania "if I read it right"
Her Mother was born in Virginia

I found an old picture with her Mother and Father It is labeled  Mr. John Palmer and wife Susan "Bashore'

In the Hartwig Family Bible there was a note of 2 children's deaths.  "  Claudie M. Saunders departed thi life July 7, 1879  5 years, 8 months and 24 days old "


"Gracie Saunders departed this life Jan 5, 1883 2 days and 7 hours old"   I would assuume that these are the children of Susan Jane Palmer Saunders because she would be the right age and there was a note of it in the cenus records of 1900.

Kitty Hartwig notes that Both of Eva's parents are buried in the Alta Mesa Cemetery in Palo Alta, California
