Smith lived in Henry Co., Georgia and moved to Carroll County, Georgia during
the 1830's.  The family except for William Harvey moved to Texas during the
1850's.

County, helped her.  For a period of time she was a mail carrier using a horse
and buggy to deliver mail.

Albert was never married. He ran a liberty stable in Villa Rica and owned about
300 acres of farm land.  He let members of his family rent and live on the land.
The liberty stable was located near the rail road station and below where the
police station is now located.  The liberty stable provided public
transporation.  Uncle Albert had carrages pulled by horses and provided a
service simular to taxies today.
