It is said that Harriet's mother Catherine Frost had 4 children after the death of her husband, Samuel Raynor. Therefore, Frost may not be her surname.
Notes by Joyce Pettingill: Lorenzo Waldram was a doctor. (Stated in the , Weber, Utah 1880 and 1900 US Census.) His wife, Mary, was a professional nurse. My mother told me a story that I cannot verify one way or the other and it was this. Louisa Fowlke had a child by Lorenzo in England (Arthur Waldrum Marrott). He would not or could not leave his wife because of the church of England. Maybe he would have lost social status. Who knows. However, Louisa Fowlke joined the Mormon church and can be found in several records. She never went by the name of Waldrum. She was apparently pregnant when she came across the plains. While coming to Utah she met William Marrott. He married her just one month after the birth of her second son with the Surname of Waldrum. In one account I read about Louisa Fowlke it said that Lorenzo and she were married in England and that he sailed with her to the US and left her before her trip West. He supposedly went back to England. However, I could never find record of him ever coming to the US until 1867 with his wife Mary. My mother, Reva Marrott Davis, also told me that Waldram loved Louisa and followed her here when she left him. He did in fact come to Utah. He is found in the Lynn, Weber, Utah 1870 census with his wife and children under L Waldrum. (It was transcribed as "D"). I think she may of got tired of waiting for him to leave his wife to marry her. She joined the church and came to the US. Lorenzo's wife Mary died in Jan of 1899 in , Weber, Utah. William Marrott died in April of 1900. Lorenzo can be found in the 1900 census living in North Ogden with his daughter Elizabeth Boyles and her children, age 73. Lorenzo and Louisa were married in February of 1901in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Utah.
