                   Mary Woodrow Boggio, a native of Scotland, came to Red Lodge with her parents in 1913 and moved to Billings in 1947.  Her hobbies were reading, crocheting and knitting.  Mrs. Boggio, 85, of 3940 Rimrock Road, died Thursday afternoon in Stillwater Community Hospital, Columbus.

Born in Barmill, Scotland, a daughter of Matthew and Marion Woodrow, she came to Red Lodge when she was 18 and married Joe Boggio Sr. there on December 25, 1915.  In 1922 they homesteaded on a ranch near Luther, and in 1947 moved to Billings.  He died Sept 27, 1980.

Survivors inclue three sons, Joe Jr. of 109 N. 30th., Matthew of Nashua, N.H. and Jim of Bridger; two daughters, Mrs Elroy (Jessie) Nutt of 105 19th St. W. and Mres Chrles (Lois) Cirker of Los Angeles, California; a sister, Jessie Wilson of Red Lodge; 12 grandchidlren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Nov 28 in St John's Lutheran Home.  Smith Downtown Chapel is in charge.  She was cremated.

Mary came over on a ship to America leaving the place of Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scotland.  She was 17 years old.  I got this information from the Ellis Island Records off the internet.
