                   Obituary:

The hearts of the people on Tancook were wrung with sadness at the death of Miss Bentie Belle Heisler, on Thursday evening, Feb 17th. She was a girl of rare qualities, and her christian character and life are examples well worthy to be followed. After a lingering illness, death was not unexpected. She was in the twentieth year of her age, and leaves a mother, father and three sisters to mourn her departure from the home where she was so dearly loved. The Red Cross Society of which she was a member, and also many friends sympathize with the family in this their first bereavement. Amiable, she won all; intelligent, she charmed all; fervent,she loved all; and dead, she saddened all. On Sunday morning, Feb 20th, loving friends bore her remains to their last resting place, but the spirit has gone hometo the God who gave it.
