All records are in the possession of Reginald Wayne Shute Sydney, it appears worked as a "colourman" [I'm not sure what that means], also as an "oilman's assistant' and on the marriage certificate it notes that he was a "baker." 1875 BIRTH: England, County of Middlesex, District of St. Pancras, Somers Town. From a birth certificate we note the following information: Sydney Albert Shute was born on the 19th of March 1875 at 13 Clarendon Square in Somers Town, District of St. Pancras noted as entry #462. He was born to John Shute, pianoforte maker, and Mary Shute, formerly Mary Osborn. The birth was registered on the 9th of April, 1875 by Charles Greene, Registrar. This copy of the birth certificate was presented on 2nd December 1966, S. W. Kirkup, deputy superintendent registrar. 1896 MARRIAGE: England, County of London, in the Parish of St. Martin Kentish Town. The marriage was solemnized in the Parish Church. Sydney Albert Shute, age 21, is listed as a Bachelor and a Baker who resided at St. Martins in Kentish Town. He married Annie Lucy Giddens, age 20, who is listed as a Spinster, with no rank or profession, who also resided at St. Martins in Kentish Town. Sydney Albert's father is noted as John Shute, a pianoforte maker, and Annie Lucy's father is noted as John Giddens, deceased. As noted, they were married in the Parish Church "according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church." Both Sydney Albert and Annie Lucy signed the document in the Presence of Sydney David Shute and Gertrude Shute. The ceremony was conducted by C. H. Vanning (sp). A copy of the MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE was certified and sent to R. Wayne Shute on 11 November 1966 from the registration district of St. Pancras. 1942 DEATH: England, Metropolitan Borough of Wandsworth in the Sub-district of Tooting. Sydney Albert Shute died on 31 May, 1942 in the Tooting Bu (sp.) Hospital. He lived at 15 Lamble Street, St. Pancras. He was, according to the certificate, an Oilman and Colourman. He died of (a) Broncho Pneumonia (b) Carcinoma of Tongue and Tharynx--certified by S (?) M. Turnbull, M. D. The informant is listed as R. M. Shute, Daughter-in-law, 71 Crofton Road, St. Pancras, N. W. 5. The death was registered on Fourth of June, 1942 by D. A. Elms, Registrar. A copy of the death certificate was sent to R. Wayne Shute, 8 February 1968. 1901 CENSUS: Sydney A.
