RESEARCH NOTE: William Graham was one of the group of Long Hunters who traveled in 1769 from Virginia and North Carolina through the Cumberland Gap into the wilds of Kentucky to hunt and explore. The leader ot the 1769 expedition was John Knox. Others of interest to present-day Green County descendants were Henry Skaggs and Benjamin Lynn, brother of Nancy Elizabeth Lynn.
