                   Attended schools of texas.  Entered the Confederate Army in April 1862 in Co. A, 18th Texas Infantry, under Captain George W. Knox.  He was in the same unit as his brother John Malone Harrison.  After war he was engaged in the drug store business and had the first one in Alto.  He was vp of the Continental State Bank in Alto and was director of it until his death.  Member of the Baptist Church and early member of the Old Palestine Baptist Church
