Final proof required under Homestead Act May 20, 1862.  Samuel P. Whisenant &
Moses H. Hager under oath swore that they knew Henry Seitz for five years past;
that Henry Seitz was the head of a family consisting of a wife and three
children and that before the 8th day of November 1871 that he had entered upon
and made a settlement and built a house and made it his exclusive home from the
8th of November to the present time, and that he has, since settlement, plowed,
fenced, and cultivated about 14 acres of said land, and has made the following
improvements thereon, to wit:  a small orchard consisting of about 75 peach and
apple trees together with cribs, stables, etc.  Dated December 23, 1876.
