Listed as heirs were widow Eliza Strohl, son Jno. Strohl of North Berne, dau Ella Strohl, son Alfred Strohl, son, Andrew Strohl, son Amos Strohl, and daughter Mary Strohl. The executor was John Seifert.  -  George B. Strohl m. Eliza Seifert, 5 Nov 1863 in Fairfield Co., OH, John Stuckey, JP, officiating.  -  In both the 1850 and 1860 census of Hocking Co., OH, Marion Twp., appears to be the parents of George B. Strohl. This township was once part of Fairfield Co., OH and borders Fairfield on the south. 1850 was #135 - George 'Strole', 38 OH; Catharine, 35 OH; Priscilla Engle, 16 OH; Rachel Engle, 14 OH; Sophia Engle, 12 OH; Sarah Strole, 12 OH; Geo., 8 OH; Catharine, 6 OH; Susan, 4 OH; and Nancy, 1 OH. Then in 1860 this family was listed as #999 - George Strohl, 48 OH; Catherine, 44 OH; Geo. B., 18 OH; Catharine, 16 OH; Susan, 14 OH; and Nancy, 11 OH.  -  In the Fairfield Co., OH marriages, a listing is given for George Strohl and Catharine Engle, 15 Nov 1840, with W. F. Schurow?, MG, officiating. It would appear that Catharine Engle had been married previously.
