                   From Charlotte Powell:  Residence:  Arrived in  Oregon Territory October 1847, settled claim on 15 Sep 1851, located in Township 10 South, Range 3 West, Section 2,3,10 & 11.  Area was 642.5 Acres on the Santiam River below Jefferson, Marion County.  (Sections 2 & 3 are on both sides of Santiam River, Section 10 and most of 11 are in Linn County).

Death:  James Casto has "Died in Oregon"; Nathiel Kraemer has no death date or place.  John 
Shearer has d. 22 May 1910, San Diegop, CA; Oregon Pioneers shows 1918, San Diego County, CA; death date is from The Heritage.
