REBECCA SMITH, -- Mrs Rebecca Smith, a resident of Glendale, Oregon, died at
Wrner Springs, yesterday, at 11 o'clock, aged 47 years. Deceased, who has been
a sufferer from liver trouble for some time past, came to the Springs about
three weeks ago in the hope that their medical qualities would bring about an
improvement in her health.  Besides her husband she leaves a family of four
sons, three of whom, William, George and James Barton, ore grown, the first two
being named being present at the time of her demise. Mrs. Smith was a cousin of
Mrs. James Riley and of Barney Miller, of Ashland. The remains were taken on
board this morning's train for Glendale, where the funeral services and
interment will take place.
