Jehu Kenworthy is husband of Amaretta Stockton, sister to William and James"; "The first criminal trial by jury in the county of Cedar, Terr. of Iowa was tried July 15, 1840. William Stockden and James Stockden were on the jury." DEATH CERTIFICATE: "This certifies that W.M.Stockton, aged 68 years, born in Ohio, died on the 30th of Sept. 1894 at L.A.County Hospital. Widower, male, caus. Occupation, Miner. Term of residence in County, 45 years.
