Newspaper:"Died at his residence in West Lebanon, IN, May 19, 1882, Isaac
Cadwallader, aged 80y 4m and 15 d. He was born 4 JAN 1802 in Bedford Co., VA,
wher he lived until 13 years of age, when the family moved to the Kanawha salt
works. He worked at the cooper trade for 5 years along with his father. The
family then moved to Highland where he lived until 1823. In the same year he
moved to Montgomery Co., IN, and on the 27th of NOV married Fannie (Tamer)
Kenworthy. 8 children blessed this union, fo whom 4 survive to mourn the loss
of a father. Two of the boys gave their lives in defense of the Union. Fannie
Cadwallader died 4 JAN 1846.  He again married and one child was born unto the,
Emily Spurrier, who now lives in West Lebanon. His 2nd wife died 12 NOV 1853,
and in May 1855, he married Maria Duncan, who survives her husband. One son was
born unto them, Thomas Cadwallader.
     Isaac lived and died in the Friend and what is commonly knwon as the Quaker
faith. A short time before he died he called the friends around his bed side
and bade them each one good-bye and told them he was going home, that there was
nothing between him and his God. He calmly passed through the Jordan and is now
at rest, awaiting the summons of all the faithful.  May we all be faithful to
the end and meet out father in that happy sun-bright clime, where there will be
no more tears and partings. "JWC"
