    for the Rev. David Elliott, and visited the graves of Thomas Stockton and his

    Mississippi River; Thomas Poe Waddell 1817-young; Caleb Stockton Waddell
    1819-young; Frances Ann 1822- d. unmarried; Margaret m. George E. Smith, no
    issue; and Sarah Jane b. 1827-?

    "On 18 JAN 1819, the court appointed Gen. Thomas and William Waddell
guardians of the minor children, Anna Maria, David, Jane (over 14), Margaretta,
William, George, John and Catherine (under 14), children of Patrick Cambell and
Frances Stockton. Frances d/o David, s/o Thomas, s/o Robert. The Wadells were
sons of Frances' aunt, Elizabeth Stockton Wadell, d/o Thomas, s/o Robert
