      Presbyterianism in the United States, who lived in Accomac Co, VA; mother
      was Elizabeth Warden, a widow with children before her marriage to Caleb
      Makemie; Francis Makemie II followed his uncle to America and settled in
      Warrentown, VA; he lived there as late as 1739, after which he rem to
      Connocajog Crk, Chambersburg, Franklin Co, PA; from there the family drifted
      over the mountains several times to Washington Co, PA

      Margaret Makemie (1784-1861), d/o Caleb (or Joseph). Neither could have
      been a nephew of Rev. Francis, the time gap is too big. There is a
      generation missing in Margaret's line. No doubt Henry and Margaret were
      cousin's but more likely to have been 3rd or 4th cousins.

      grandfather of the Rev Cotton Mather";
