                   Individual found in the Clearfield Progress Monday 17 Dec 1951:
MRS. MYRTLE PETERS - Curwensville - Mrs. Myrtle Elizabeth Peters, 88, widow of Curtin E Peters and a former resident of Woodland, died Saturday, Dec 15, at 5:45 a.m. at the home of her son, Burton Peters, 512 Thompson St., Curwensville.  She had lived in Curwensville the past four years.  Born in Goshen Township Sept 9, 1863, she was the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle J. Shirey Bumgarner.  She leaves seven children:  Mrs. Oma Davis, Woodland, R.D.; Mrs. Don Leamer, Bellefonte; Edward, Wayne, Burton, Raymond and Theodore all of Curwensville; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, George Bumgarner of Clearfield and one sister Mrs. Etta Pester, Woodland RD.  Her husband and two sons preceded her in death.  Funeral services will be conducted from Liniger Funeral Home Tuesday, Dec 8, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harry Smyser of the Lutheran Church officiating.  Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemeter, Woodland.  Friends may call at the funeral home from now until time of services on Tuesday.
