                   Obituary for Earl Edgar Lansberry - Clearfield Progress 26 Aug 1957:
Earl E. Lansberry of 305 Hill St., Clearfield, died in the Clearfield Hospital Sunday at 8am following a short illness.  He was 54.  Mr. Lansberry was born in Bradford Township June 1, 1903, a son of David and Blanche Wisor Lansberry, both now deceased.  He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel Ball Lansberry; two children, Donald Earl and Theodore Edgar, both of Clearfield; and six grandchildren.  He also leaves these brothers and sisters:  Raymond and Mrs. Alice Peters, Beaver Falls; Clair and David Lee, Mineral Springs; Mrs. Margaret Hadaway and Mrs. Pauline Straw, Orangeville, Calif.; Mrs. Erma Shimmell, Phillipsburg; Robert, Arizona; and Sgt. Albert Lansberry, Fort Bragg, NC.  In addition to his parents, a brother George, and a sister, Geraldine preceded him in death.  Funeral services will be held from the Leavy Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 o'clock with the Rev. W.W. Banks officiating.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight, Tuesday afternoon and evening and until Time of services Wednesday.

LANSBERRY-BALL - Earl E. Lansberry, son of Mr. and Mrs. David E. Lansberry, of Woodland, and Mabel Ball, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ball, of Hillsdale, were united in marriage at Trinity Methodist parsonage last evening by the Rev. W.W. Hartman.  Mr. Lansberry is employed in the brick works at Woodland and Miss Ball has been one of the Manager Ward's force at McCrory's store. Congratulations and good wishes for these young people.

Mrs. Mabel V. Lansberry, 61, of Clearfield, widow of Earl E. Lansbery, died yesterday at 7:30pm in the Clearfield Hospital. Born June 23, 1903 at Clearfield, she was the daughter of Christine (Shope) Ball and the late Frank Ball.  Mrs. Lansberry was employed by Clearfield Furs and was an active member of the Trinity Methodist Church, the WSCS and taught in the nursery department of the Sunday School for 18 years.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Donald and Theodore, both of Clearfield; two brothers, Elmer Ball of Clearfield and Frank Ball Jr. of Pittsburgh; five sisters, Mrs. Howard (Ruth) Hazen of Kenmore, NY, Mrs. Edward (Grace) Fisher of Niagara Falls, NY, Mrs. Herbert (Mary) Kruse and Mrs. John (Anna) Geibel, both of Buffalo, NY, and Mrs. Harry (B. Elizabeth) Stoudt of Clearfield; and eight grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2pm from the Bennett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Frank W. Montgomery will officiate.  Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.  Friends may call in the funeral home at 2pm tomorrow and until the hour of services Saturday.
