Individual found on the 1880 census for Lancaster, Butler Co, PA as head of household, age 51, occupation: laborer, born in PA.  Father born in MD and mother born in PA.

                   Mar 2003 - letter from Cleora (Funkhouser) Ruby noting that since our Oct 2002 conversation she discovered that her husband's grandparents were a Jacob Ruby and Roseanne Miller.

Mar 2003 - email Paula Good - she had record of a Job Ruby, born 1844, who married a Rosanna Miller.

Wrote a letter to Cle passing on what info Paula had and will see if the additional names are known to them.

Oct 2002 - Information obtained from granddaughter-in-law, Cle Ruby.  Also she noted that she recalled there was an Uncle Calvin Miller living in Colorado and that this RUBY was in the Civil War.

Mar 2003 - Received correspondence from Cle (Funkhouser) Ruby advising that Norman Scott Ruby's parents were:  Jacob Ruby and Rose Anne Miller.
