I look tonight into the setting sun And think of her whose work on earth is done; The golden sun is beautiful to see Sinking away into Eternity. And so her life so full of golden deeds, Her heart which gave itself to other's needs Has left its golden gleam of love-light true As sunset leaves its trail across the blue. We loved her as we laid her down to rest, We gave her back to God who loved her best. We'll follow in the path her feet have trod, Follow where the sunset lead to God.
