From page 260:

       "He (Elisha) served throughout the revolution and performed the duties of an ensign at the battle of Bunker Hill and at sundry other places.  He reside at Epping, New Hampshire, until about 1784 or 1785 when he removed to Gardiner, ME (Maine) and soon after to Readfield, MA."

Note:  Family records stated place of death to be Readfield, MA.  UTL a Readfield in Massachusetts.  There is a Readfield Maine; hence MA maybe was meant to be ME.  Readfield, Maine, is in Kennebec county.
